  • Love seems to come with a lot of mixed signals. But for some reason, once you get married these signals seem to get scattered all across the universe. It feels impossible trying to decipher what your spouse is trying to tell you. For married couples, sometimes it's not as easy to communicate or share each other's thoughts and feelings as it once was. There are definitely things your wife would love for you to do, but for some reason or another, she won't ever ask you outright. Confusing, right?

  • 1. Hug me

  • Any hug will do, but the ones that linger and mean something do wonders for your wife's mood and your relationship.

  • 2. Trust me

  • Don't ever doubt her. Your wife capable of anything she puts her mind to.

  • 3. Tell me I'm right

  • Even if you disagree. Sometimes, your wife just needs a "win".

  • 4. Help with the kids

  • Even if it's just helping to get their teeth brushed and put to bed, these small actions are steps in the right direction. Step in and help out whenever possible.

  • 5. Listen to me when I'm talking

  • All she needs is two minutes of your undivided attention. Put down the phone, stop thinking about work and actually listen.

  • A good foot massage works wonders.

  • 7. Support me

  • Be there for her when she needs someone to lean on.

  • 8. Tell me "thank you"

  • Being a mom and a wife is a hard job. Thanking her for what she does, especially the little things, means the world to her.

  • Dusting, vacuuming, organizing, cleaning, gardening, sweeping, washing and folding. You name it. If it looks dirty, more likely than not, she'll love you if you help to clean it up.

  • Every woman deserves respect, especially your wife. Treat her the way she deserves to be treated. Respect her opinions, her individuality and her decisions.

  • 11. Don't solve my problems for me

  • She'll kindly take your advice, but let her work out her own problems. Lend her help when she asks for it, but more often than not, she wants your support not your solutions.

  • 12. Tell me I look beautiful

  • Especially when she doesn't feel beautiful. This is something your wife will never ask you for, but needs more than you can imagine.

  • 13. Spend time with me

  • Time spent with your wife is time well spent - especially when it's time spent just the two of you.

  • 14. Take me out on a date

  • Get a babysitter for the kids and do something nice for her, just because.

  • 15. Be clean

  • Take a shower, put on a little cologne and get dressed. Look nice and smell nice, just for your wife.

  • 16. Make me laugh

  • Sometimes, even Dad jokes can be funny.

  • 17. Give me a break

  • Let her to take time for herself. Let her sit and read that book she's been dying to read or watch TV - and let her do it in silence.

  • 18. Cuddle with me

  • Sometimes just having you hold her is all she needs.

  • Don't be arrogant, but have confidence in yourself and confidence in her.

  • 20. Show that you care

  • Even the littlest of gestures go a long way.

  • Time to do whatever she needs to do and the space to be able to do it.

  • She'll love a kiss on the forehead, on her rosy checks or on her lips.
