  • It takes more than just a mom and dad to raise a family. There are so many things to teach a child that parents can't do it alone. From learning basic book-smart skills such as numbers and letters to social skills and religious lessons, teaching children requires the help of everyone around including siblings, grandparents, family friends, neighbors and even, in some cases, pets.

  • In this sweet video, an infant is learning to crawl and his family's Alaskan Malamutes are right there with him pushing him along. Even though, in this video, it is dogs helping a child crawl, as a parent, it is OK not to do everything on your own. When you try to do it all, you become burned out, tired and overwhelmed. As a parent, it is important to let others help you raise a child. Don't be afraid to ask for help when it is needed. Most importantly, love everyone who does offer help, and be willing to help others. We can't do it ourselves. We all need one another.
